OUR PROGRAM
Enrichment for Gifted Learners
The ADAGE SUMMER PROGRAM IS SPONSORED BY PROJECT ELEVATE (a USDOE FEDERAL GRANT).
This program provides challenging academic enrichment for gifted learners in upper elementary grades current 3-5 (2018-2019) for Seminole County Public Schools.
This program operates for 2 weeks in June offering students the opportunity to select from a variety of courses. Each course takes 6 hours and is presented on 2 days for 3 hours each day. Students must attend both days for specific courses.
Courses operate from 9:00am-12:00pm each morning and 12:30pm-3:30pm each afternoon.
The program also includes a field trip day to the University of Central Florida campus.
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for registered students!
OUR INSTRUCTORS

AT UCF
Courses on campus are presented by faculty and/or graduate students from the University. These courses have been especially developed for this program in line with best-practices for challenging gifted learners. SCPS teachers accompany their students from project schools throughout these field trips and workshops.
AT SCPS school
Courses are presented by 10 Project ELEVATE Teacher Leaders who have been trained in best -practices by UCF Gifted Education and SCPS for this purpose.
